Luonto SL is a scientific sustainability and communications firm with roots in Finland and Spain. From our headquarters in Benissa (Alicante, Spain), overlooking the Mediterranean, we work to protect what gives meaning to our work: nature. Our name, luonto — which means ‘nature’ in Finnish — reflects both our main client and our constant source of inspiration.

We connect science with awareness and action, collaborating with public administrations, companies, academic institutions, young people, and civil society. Our work drives the transition towards bluer, circular, and climate-positive economies.

Our centre on the Costa Blanca is a hub of environmental activity, where our facilities allow us to coordinate scientific activities, ensuring that they make a real contribution to marine knowledge and conservation, and providing a controlled and safe environment where the necessary skills can be acquired before moving on to the marine environment.
